Location: Throughout Chatham, Durham, Granville, Orange, Person, and Vance Counties
During the 16th Annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive, local letter carriers and the National Association of Letter Carriers, in conjunction with the United States Postal Service, collect non-perishable food donations that citizens leave beside their mailboxes.
*Look for a reminder postcard in your box the week of April 28th.
*Look for bags in your mailbox week of May 5th.
*Please leave non-perishable food items near your mailbox on Saturday, May 10.
Locally the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC at Durham on 708 Gilbert Street is the beneficiary.
