19th Century Arts and Crafts
Friday, May 30, 2008 6:30-8:30 pm free
Join us on the beautiful lawn of the Burwell School Historic Site for the Hillsborough Arts Council’s May Last Friday event. Learn about 19th century arts and crafts such as 1860 Period Cosmetics, mid 19th century quilt patterns, knitting, whitework embroidery, parlor games, and writing. There will be many opportunities to make crafts in a traditional way. This is a great way to learn about history while you are having fun and it is great for kids. The event is FREE!
The Burwell School is located at 319 North Churton Street in Hillsborough’s
downtown historic district. For more information call 919-732-7451 or
